STATE DIPLOMA TRAINING AGREEMENT

A Message from the Director

For over 20 years, we’ve been selecting and training instructors, trainers, and coaches. They are an essential resource for our profession as well as for the development and growth of our players at all levels, from recreational sports to elite competition. Finding the right people and the right coaches has never been easy. That’s why I’m proud and happy to enter into this partnership with the league so that I can finally begin working officially as an instructor myself. This gives us the opportunity to discover new talent who can benefit from our facilities, our diverse activities, and, last but not least, the exceptional setting in Cap d’Agde. I would like to thank Yannick Martinez, the director of the Centre International de Tennis, as well as the Elite Forma Academy for their support in this ambitious project.

Training Center

In partnership with the Occitanie Tennis League and the Cap d’Agde International Tennis Center, the French Touch Academy is becoming a training center for the DEJEPS Tennis (state diploma in youth, adult education, and sports) under the dual-track system.
Starting in August 2022, our facility will welcome a class of 12 candidates on site. All theoretical training will take place on the premises in Cap d’Agde. Regarding the dual-track component at the clubs:

  • Four candidates will be selected to complete their practical training directly at the academy and at the club.

  • 8 Candidates must sign a training contract with local clubs and organizations.

The Goals

In addition to providing an excellent, certified training program, the Academy aims not only to train candidates in the fundamentals of teaching and coaching, but also to equip them with the skills and knowledge essential for working in private and nonprofit settings.
Upon completion of the training program, our goal is to offer selected graduates employment opportunities directly at the Academy or with partner organizations, particularly abroad.
Our mission is to optimally prepare young coaches for the highly competitive tennis market through a comprehensive training program based on diverse experiences and the teaching of original content.
